What is UX design?

All things being fair, I think it’s important to start by saying there’s conflicting perspectives over the nuance of the meaning. User Experience Design is a concept that encapsulates many perspectives & several disciplines
—Such as interaction design, information architecture, visual design, usability, and human-computer interaction.
Downt to brass tacks - UX design is the process of designing (digital or tangible) products that are useful, easy to use, and delightful to interact with. Interact, being the fulcrum word, around which all ancillary concepts orbit.

Engaging User Experiences
Every Successful UX is arrived at by following an ever evolving process based around 2 principle (Specifically...at Reverb)

Duis semper this mi, vitae pulvinar mauris sollicitudin porttitor. Nam ornare turpis tincidunt, tincidunt is metus pharetra, auctor quam. Nulla condimentum ut metus at sodales.

Kanban
and
Kaizen

Kanban is a scheduling system for lean and just-in-time (JIT) production. Kanban is a system to control the logistical chain from a production point of view, and is an process control system. In other words, an optimized workflow.

Kaizen , Which has a literal translation of Change & Good, is the practice of continuous improvement. Today Kaizen is recognized worldwide as an important pillar of an organization's long-term competitive strategy.

What's your favorite SciFi UX?

Perhaps some of the best demonstrations of these principles are Quintessential Graphic Interfaces from Hollywood's SciFi Hall of Fame. It doesn't happen often, but when a visionary designer creates an interface that feels eternally futuristic & fresh; It's the sort of timeless UX that inspires designers for generations. One such example: [ TRON ]

  • Minimalism.
  • High Contrast.
  • Engaging.
  • Intuitive.

Life Imitates Art Imitates Life

A reverb is feedback. It's the reflection of your output filtered through the reflector; the audience. Reverb Designs is both our name and our method. When the reverb mirrors the innate frequency of a specific surface, its called resonance. Resonating with your audience is the goal of everything we do.

For "TRON: Legacy" Graphic Artist GMUNK assembled and led a team of GFX all-stars who conceived, designed and animated approximately 10 minutes of UI sequences and holograms at Digital Domain.
